I have had the worst experience with your Charlotte, North Carolina location on Wilkinson Blvd. I rented a Full-Size car from this location on Thursday, Oct 14, 2021. I purchase this yes from a 3rd party Priceline and I also purchase the insurance through Priceline. Once I came to your location, I was told I still had to purchase another $150.00 insurance even though I had insurance through Priceline as well as my own insurance through Geico.

I will say I have rented cars all the time and even worked at a Car Rental Place (Alamo) and I have always been given the option of this. I purchase beyond my control because I had no choice, we were getting on the road soon and I had no wiggle room. Once I got in the car, I was very upset with the car's appearance. This call looked as if I burrow the car from someone, and not a rental.

Once my son got in the care because I have a medical condition which I can prove, I am unable to smell. He stated the car smelled like cigarettes and there were burns in the back seat of the car. Also, there were cups in the car, we just went and clean the car out and put an air fresher in the car, and jumped on the road, I just made a note of it and I would just let them know when I get back. So today when I drop the car off today, I was going to send a complaint in about the I assume manager because as I was waiting for one the employee female went and took my keys to help me with my return.

She told the employee to do something, and she did not do it the lady then said to the other employee I thought I told her f*cking a*s to do that. It was about 2 other customers in the store at the time and she looked to get I guess a laugh or agreement, but we looked in disgusts. The employee was just smiling and keep working and did not say a word, but you can tell she was nervous. Once I got up to the front the manager then came took the keys checked my car and came back very unprofessional and stated you were smoking in the car, I said I do not smoke.

She then walks over to the car and stated and pointed to dust and said it was ashes and she smokes so she knows what ashes look like. I said this looks like dust and not ashes she walks off and said you won’t get your disposit back. I ask are you really taking my whole 200 dollars. She stated you signed a contract and you smoked in the car, I walked off in tears because she was not trying to hear me. Once I got to the car where my son was, he notices and ask the lady to show him these ashes and he also was letting her know how the car was when we got it and not one smoked in the car, she proceeded to say yall should have called and it’s not their problem I am not getting my money back.

Of course, my son gets mad, and states f*ck her she is rude, and let’s go, she just over to my son and start cussing him out F*ck you, that’s why you don’t have any car, you a broke n***a. My son in her is now arguing in the lot, she is saying oh and you had an unauthorized driving in the car when my son was with me when we travel to Florida for a family thing. The team members were no help as they were allowing this to happen, she even walked up to my car to my son to fight him and my son did get out of the car, but I told him to get back in and we just will have to figure this bill out.

All in all, I have paid for rental a total of $998.00 for 5 days I have never in my life paid this much for a rental, this includes the amount I paid on Priceline with insurance $540.00 and the rest is what I was charged extra for. I am so upset, and I have been ripped off and insulted. I will be reporting this to every agency I can think of from the BBB, and beyond. I work too hard for my money to be ripped off like this and this place needs a whole new staff and should never treat or talk to customers like that.

They should be reprimanded for these actions. Someone with that kind of attitude, demeanor, and rude customer service should not be a representation of your company. I am so saddling and in tears over this and I never thought this would be an outcome and the way she treated me was horrible.
