My family and I wanted to experience Disney for the first time, and were contacted about what seemed to be a fantastic deal for a 4 night 3 day getaway for $99.00, at the WestGate Lake Resorts Orlando/Kissimmee, Florida. First, we were not charged the $99.00, but rather $632.20, and the room that they said we purchased was a renovated villa, had a lake view, and one of the nicest rooms they had to offer other than the presidential suite. Lie, lie, lie! The room was filthy, stained and soiled blankets, sheets, mold growing in the shower, and just completely filthy! We complained to the WestGate directly, but they informed us that since we acquired the reservation through HotelsCorp, there was absolutely nothing they could do for us at all! Who owns this resort? WestGate or HotelsCorp? Then, we complained multiple times to the front desk supervisors, and received what they thought was a fantastic solution of us paying an additional $1,300.00 for a future 8 night 7 day vacation in the future....!?!?!?! What the heck is wrong with these people? First, you overcharge me by over$500.00, want me to purchase a timeshare for $30,000.00, and you can't even correct what was sold to fraudulently??? Do not stay at this resort or buy anything from HotelsCorp!!! I am suing them tomorrow!!!
