Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

After getting into a pretty bad accident my car was towed here. I am not from the area where this shop is located. I live 2 hours away. From the moment I first phoned there about my car there was nothing but chaos. The secretary was obnoxious and cut me off while I was speaking. All I heard about was how my towing and storage bill had to be paid. Sorry, I forgot about the $350 towing bill to go 3 miles. The secretary was so rude I wanted to have my car towed elsewhere but I figured this would just delay me getting my car back. Instead I decided to deal with this sorry excuse of a shop.

Finally I got fed up with trying to reach someone via phone and drove over 2 hours from where I live. I took off work early to arrive at this shop when they are open. The experience was totally different in person because they wanted the business. The anorexic secretery offered me coffee and/or water. When I asked her if I decided to use that shop how long it would take she cut me off to speak to her father on her cell phone. The conversation drug on and on while she must have said 30 times, "I love you daddy!!" She finally said, "Oh, Bob can answer all of your questions, let me see if he is busy."

After sittting and waiting 20 minutes with auto technicians walking by left and right, Bob finally came out to his desk. I sat down while he rambled on and on about how backed up he was and didn't have enough help. He went on to say how he has had his business over 30 years and has the highest reviews in the area. He didn't shut up the entire time and I could barely ask about my car. I honestly wondered if he had been drinking or using drugs.

After a few more minute of listening to him I eventually gathered it is adult ADD. He cannot seam to focus on one subject. He will not let the other person speak for more than 1 minute. He appears to be listening but everything goes in one ear and out the other.  I should have turned around and walked out but I decided to give the guy a chance. He told me the work would take 2-3 weeks but that would depend on how fast my insurance company handled everything. Bob's words were, "I have dealt with hundreds of thousands of insurance companies and I can get them to move faster than a customer can. I work most nights til 3-4 AM."

I wondered why someone who says they have a successful business is working until 4 AM. Apparently he is so hyper he cannot sleep. He kept jumping up and jumping from one foot to the other. As I was trying to talk to him he kept interupting me saying he had to get back to work. I pay $4,500 a year for insurance, have to pay $1,000 deductible. This guy is getting a $20K job but he couldn't spend 5 minutes with me? I do NOT know why I felt sorry for him. What I had forgotten is that folks that have ADHD blame everything on everyone else and make you feel sorry for them. They have awful listening skills but somehow their hyper charm makes everyone think they are nice people. I was suckered in.

The damage to my car was pretty intense but it took almost 7 weeks for me to get the car back. This owner has a stall tactic of giving the insurance companies a very low estimate. He battles with them so that he can't start the job. While he is waiting to start the work he collects storage fees. Storage fees for what? The vehicles sit in a giant empty parking lot while he cries wolf. I can go on an on about how incompetent this man is but I think I made my point clear. Do NOT use him to repair your car.

Since he will file a rebuttal and then pretend he did nothing wrong or that I don't exist, or I am lying. I am not and this infomation I have shared is 100% accurate. Before he writes any statement he needs to look at himself and relaize he is obnoxious, cocky, has an extremely trashy mouth, is disrespectful, and he did later threaten me on a few occasions. Since I am about a foot taller than him he evetually stopped the verbal threats and harrassment. He will also try to get 100 more positive reviews which keeps using only his name, no one else's. His employees were respectful and polite. The problem is 100% the owner. Bob, skip your rebuttal. It is not welcome. What you need is to apologize to everyone you have insulted and lied to, lastly, grow up.

Once again put the blame on someone else.

This comment is from the owner of the business himself. Since he could not respond to how poorly he runs a business he will now attempt to insinuate that I am a bad driver. The accident was not my fault. Most repairs on expensive cars do cost about $20k. Here is another warning that this complaint will drag on an on forever because that is the way this owner does business. He is the king of auto repair and cannot be found wrong. He will never apologize. You were paid by the insurance company. You were paid to tow a car, you were paid storage fees. You made plenty of money. Drop it already!

If you are paying $4500 a year for insurance and are getting into accidents that cost $20k, maybe take a driving class or something.  That's about 5 times more than normal people pay.  Or stop driving like a jackass and getting into accidents.  That would help avoid the need to deal with body shops.
