My experience with Lowe's and their Pella Windows has been a dissapointment from the get go. Lowe's and Pella windows seemed less than enthuastic with attempting to resolve the issue for me. My endless email chain with Steve from Lowe's only continued to frustrate me while I waited and waited for a suitable resolution.
Let me explain my frustration in more depth. I received a window that came improperly assembled on 3 occasions! After all this nonsense, I am seeking a refund of $448.10 for the poor manufacturing and customer service on the part of Pella windows. Keep in mind, if Pella window's had delivered to me what they offered, I would not need to be creating a grievence email.
I have attempted many times to communicate with Steve @ Lowe's so that we may reach a resolution to my satisfaction. Communication has lapsed between us and as of today they simply stopped responding and the defective window remains installed. I do not reccommend Lowe's or Pella windows to anyone. They receive a grade "F".

We purchased two Pella windows from Lowes on November 3rd 2022. The windows were picked up on December 1st. We discovered after installation that one window (Pella 150 Series, 37.5x26.5, Item # 943051) was defective – one corner of the window was wedged, and the window would not open properly. We contacted Lowes and three months later received a replacement window. That window turned out to be the wrong model. We contacted Lowes again. After an additional several months' wait the correct model replacement was sent. The second replacement was again defective – now two corners were wedged, compromising the integrity of the product. We tried to contact Lowes again, however, since September 2023 they stopped responding to our queries and haven't responded since.

It would seem sensible that you would not have installed [or permitted someone else to install] an incorrectly assembled product.
Did you sign off on the completed installation?
Why not simply dispute the credit card charge?
