*BUYER BEWARE *
On May 29th, 2022, I bought a couple of mattresses and a box spring from this location from the owner Jeremy Staggs. The online prices are not what you will end up paying when he gets there. When I got there, the low prices that he advertised were not for the product listed online.
Two mattresses & 1 box spring cost me $1,478; after several days of not receiving confirmation of shipment, I contacted the Vendor to request cancellation. The Vendor called me several hours later and told me my order could not be canceled because my items were already shipped. After reviewing the FedEx order, I noticed on the FedEx tracking information that the item shipment request was placed "after" my phone call to cancel the item.
On June 16th, I received the order; once I received the item, I immediately returned it to the sender and requested a refund. I sent Jeremy confirmation that FedEx did return and provided a signature for the things that were returned to him and requested a refund.
I attempted to reach out to Jeremy Staggs (owner/vendor) several times to request a refund. I was told that Square, the merchant service he uses, will have to Investigate before settlement. I contacted my bank, Chase, to pursue a refund, and chase told me that because the Vendor uses Square merchant services, they're unable to assist, so this is between me and the Vendor, Jeremy Staggs.
On Thursday, August 25th, 2022, I reached out to Jeremy for an update on the investigation by Square because I still have no product or refund, and he told me that no refund would be issued because Square ruled in his favor and the items would not be returned to me. So I do not need to have the product or my money. So how is it possible that I paid $1,476.60 to a business, and they can take my money and give me no product in return?
