Ray White Paddington were found guilty in the Brisbane Supreme Court of false advertising and deceptive conduct under the trade practices act after marketing an appartment as having 3 parking spaces the apparent only had 2 parking spots and a storage are they told the buyer the concrete support pillar could be removed to create a third parking space which was not true as it was a structural support pillar and could not be removed.
Ray White Paddington we’re convicted of breaching the trade practices act and ordered to pay the buyer $312.000 plus legal costs the appeal by Ray White Paddington in the appeals court was dismissed.
