Rex UNC Health UNC engages in deceptive business practices, does not make their costs known upfront for elective, low-priority procedures and tests, and then tries to stick you with the bill afterwards. Durham North Carolina

Unc did not inform me of the cost of the test I had done up front, and I was told it would be covered by my insurance. Almost a month later, I am told that they want me to pay more than $2000 for the test.
I never would have agreed to the test if I had known the price, as I cannot afford that kind of cost. These deceptive business practices cannot be allowed, and UNC needs to waive the charges.
