I bought the 48V 100AH lithium battery from Amazon to do a lead/acid conversion on my golf cart. The battery is described to do this conversion on Golf Carts. I have an EZGO S4 cart.  The battery arrived late over the Xmas holidays and when I returned in February I immediately installed the battery. On the very first trip, the BMS shut the battery down and I was stranded.  I contacted Amazon and they said it was sold by a 3rd party vendor and it was between me and the 3rd party vendor.  However because the battery was late, it was already after the 30 day return policy the vendor had.  This was because it was sent to me late!  I have had over 20 calls to Amazon, and over 5 notes back and forth with Scremower. They responses are absurd.  Their best one was "buy a 2nd battery, wire them in parallel and that may solve your problem!"  The battery's BMS is substandard and they will not do anything to help solve the problem. They are a fraudulent scam company. DO NOT BUY A SCREMOWER battery!!!

Not really sure what your complaint is about. How do you know it's a faulty BMS? Did you measure the peak current draw of your golf cart? What is it? It sounds like there is nothing wrong with the battery, you just didn't buy the right one. The absolute max draw for this battery is 100A, and the recommended draw is 50A. Golf carts need way more than that, the lead acid batteries can supply something like 600 amps for short periods of time. There are companies that sell conversion kits for a specific golf cart. This isn't one of them. In fact, they don't mention your model (or any other) anywhere. And they are probably correct, if you bought another battery you would be OK. So I don't see anything wrong with how they are advertising it. And if the warranty is only 30 days, maybe you should have looked for another vendor.
