I contacted Valley commercial services to service my manitowoc ice machine. The ice machine was freezing up. They sent out a technician who diagnosed the problem as a software issue. However a couple days later the ice machine began freezing up again. I called the company and spoke to Brittany Hall who assured me that I would not be charged a second time if it was something the technician missed. The technician came a second time and still could not identify the issue but tried to blame the issue on the maintenance staff. The technician left but the machine was still freezing up. I was charged a second time on my credit card without my consent. (This company requires credit card information upfront). So I called and spoke to Brittany Hall who said she would talk to the technician and return my call. However she did not. Then I tried to calling and email but my number had been blocked and my email was returned to me undeliverable. A few days later I got through to a Jody Mullins who stated the issue was being reviewed by the operations manager Mike Kenson. A couple days later I spoke to Mike Kenson on the phone and tried to explain that I should not be charged twice when they did not fix the issue and I was concerned about the use of my credit card being charged. He made it clear that he was not going to issue a refund. I stated that I had filed a complaint with the BBB and the states attorney general's office but he stated that he did not care. This company should be avoided.
