1ShoppingCart.com I signed on for one of their products/packages and was charged for a much higher priced one.
I needed a low cost payment processing company to handle web sales transactions. 1ShoppingCart.com offered a few different packages at varying prices, and I chose the least expensive, at $34.00 per month, plus transactions fees.
The site in several places, advertises "Try us free!" Seemingly, everyone gets a month free trial.
I found charges on my CC for $129.00 per month. Called, and they 'said' the free trial ONLY applies to those buying their "premium package," which of course I didn't! NO mention on the site or the different package offerings indicates the month's free trial only applies to their premium package ($119 + 10 "support fee" totaling $129.00 per month).
In addition, the $34.00 package says it's offered for "a limited time." I thought, GREAT! I'm getting in on a bargain! But no... if you actually GET that package, it immediately converts to $59.00 after the first month of service.
I'm a senior citizen on a limited income (social security doesn't stretch very far) and this company is maliciously misleading the public into thinking they're signing up for one thing, but charging em for service that's MUCH more costly. I got ripped off, and I'm pissed off about it! 1ShoppingCart is an unethical company. They are guilty of false advertising on their site, and their web information is completely misleading. I'd be the first to initiate a class action lawsuit, if anyone else is interested.
