A Solid Gold Sound Ripoff, Deceptive, Beware if you value your ceremony!! Nationwide
We live in Denver and planned for our daughter's wedding in St Paul this past weekend (5/20/06). We contacted A Solid Gold Sound about five months ago and paid $500 for a DJ and a songlist for the reception. We called on Thursday before the wedding and were told that there were no problems. The DJ's showed up at 9pm (three hours late with no playlist and minimal equipment i.e., no microphone).
Thank God we were able to have the restaurant owner pipe in music to the reception area. Obviously signing a contract with this company doesn't matter. We have called them over twenty times since our return but have not received any responses. They are taking advantage of unsuspecting customers and need to be put out of business for the general good of all those attempting to plan a ceremony in good faith! A class action suit might just teach them a good lesson. I'll sign up with you Melissa if you decide to take this to the next level.
