Aarons ad on tv says if for any reason you can keep the product return it and if you decide to restart you get credit for the amount already paid .. not at the Aaron's in Shallotte NC .. Shallotte, North Carolina
Rented a Sony laptop from Aarons in Shallotte NC had it for about 8 months and it had to be repaired they had it for close to 2 months and when it finally came back it still was not working. They did nt have another Sony or anything in the same price range so we had no choice but to rent the HP we had as a loaner. Also rented a Dell on the same day. Had to fill out all new paper work for the HP replacement and were told no credit on the payments from the Sony. When I questioned it because of an ad on tv I was brushed off. I waited for the ad to come back on an it states that if for any reason you have to return the product no problem. And if you decide to re-rent you can pick up where you left off. Everytime I questioned it I was ignored .. Now I have called to contact the owners of this Aarons because of this and many other issuse with this store but apparently none of the three owners of this place care to answer.. they have had more then enough time to respond and it is a waste talking to the liar of a Mgr of that place. I feel that since they could not repair the Sony and did not have another compatable priced laptop available I should have had the credit for the payments on it applied to the HP, let alone all the other complains I have about this sadly run operation. Don't rent from them unless you like being jerked around and your complaints ignored and owers too busy to bother to pick up a phone. Mind you we had already purchased a Toshiba from them the year prior. VERY POOR customer service. Oh and if you have rented a used computer from them already better have someone computer savy to check for porn pics if a kid is using it .. since they fail to remove previous renters stuff prior to re renting.
