Adelphia Communications Fraudulent Billing! Rip-off! Santa Monica California
I recently moved from my apartment and contacted adelphia to disconnect my service. I was told my service would be disconnected on the 30th and to pay for the partial months service and that a representative would be by to pick up my cable box on the last day in the morning. Well they never came by to pick up the cable box, so a dropped it off to the local office a week later.
In two weeks I received a bill asking for payment during the time I was in possession of the cable box. It is not my problem the company can not keep there appointments. I disputed the charges. The customer service is a joke; the representatives can do little and are under trained. If at all possible avoid this company.
