Advantage America RIPOFF Tried persistently to obtain my bank account info Nationwide
This company called wanting my bank account information to deposit a "government grant" which they claimed I was eligible for because I payed my taxes on time. I did not give them my info, although I did mess with them a while.
I told them to call me back and they would, I would put them on hold and they would wait forever. The number showed up on my cell phone unavailable and then started showing up 001-819, they gave me common names like Miller, Jones, and Smith. I asked to speak to the superviser, she said her name was Teresa Smith I asked her which bank she banked with and if I could have her bank account number, she did'nt think it was funny and hung up on me.
I called my cell phone company to see if they could trace the number however they are not able to do so they are however going to put this on thier website and try to send free text messasges warning people of this fraud, the customer service rep for Verizon(my phone company) said that she recieved a call less than an hour before that with the same complaint.
