I dont even know where to begin. The week of April 12th, to be exact it was on the 12th that Mike from Altec called my home and spoke with me (Cathy M) and he said the parts were in and he would be out himself with Calvin on the 23rd Friday to fix all the problems that we have had with out sunroom. It is leaking, the sophet is coming apart, the inside where the corners meet are not together and are popping out, the screens need to still be replaced due to their negligence, and some caulking still needs to be repaired to a neater state. Needless to say we waited till around 10.30 am Friday morning on the 23rd of April 2004 and then proceeded to call Altec Home Improvement of Toledo, I got the run around, and so did my husband..no call back..and as usual...nobody knew what was going on. We then called Tony from Craftbilt and he called them and then we got a call back from Mike saying that they didnt have the parts in that they needed to come out and fix our sunroom due to the fact that the owner ED ROCCO wasnt going to pay for them...but mind you....Mr Rocco has already been paid for the job which was a total of $26,808.00...so since Mr ROcco has his money he no longer feels he will stand behind his contractual agreement....therefore Ed when you read this..we have sought a lawyer and I myself personally have contacted all the television stations in Toledo for bad consumer business and the radio stations....YOU ARE WRONG..and you left me no other choice but to go the legal way..I know you have lawyers..but we are in the RIGHT..your WRONG......Key bank is also being notified on Monday morning..for any future business you may be doing with them..so they know what kind of company your running...THis sunroom was suppossed to be done and useable November of 03...we are at six months now..and you refuse to do anything..I am tired of your stories.....GET OUT HERE AND FIX THE JOB AND MAKE GOOD ON THE CONTRACT...WHICH YOU SIGNED....I AM ALSO SPREADING THE WORD FOR PEOPLE NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOUR COMPANY...SEVERAL HAVE ALREADY SEEN THE WORK YOUR GUYS HAVE DONE ON OUR SUNROOM..SO THAT IN ITSELF SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS....WE ARE NOT SATISFIED....I AM ALSO CALLING CRAFTBILT MONDAY MORNING AND SPEAKING WITH DEB STONE..AMONG OTHER CALLS PERTAINING TO YOUR COMPANY AND THE WAY YOU DO BUSINESS....AND YOUR WORK ETHICS...THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE HAS ALREADY BEEN NOTIFIED AS WELL AS THE B.B.B. AND ANY OTHER PLACE THAT WILL HELP US RESOLVE THIS ISSUE....YOU DONT EVEN DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS... WE WANT THIS SUNROOM REPAIRED CORRECTLY..NOT BY SOME GUYS WHO KNOW NOTHING OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING..AND YOU CAN TELL THAT BY THE WAY THIS ROOM WAS PUT UP..AND YOU KNOW THAT AS WELL AS I DO OR ANYONE ELSE WHO LOOKS AT THIS ROOM. We are really unhappy with this whole situation from day one and to think we are paying over 330 a month for a room we can not even use...

This is in response to my posting above here. I spoke with the president of Altec, Ed and he told me that they would not be out tomorrow (but would be out on March 30th and 31st to take the sunroom down and rebuild it back up. I did ask Mr Rocco for a reimbursement check for all the problems and troubles we have had since we started business with Altec. When the room is finally finished I will report on here exactly how it is and then my complaint will then be closed here, but that wont be until next Mon or Tues (depending on if nothing comes up with Altec to prevent them from coming out here). After I take this off the site next week Mr Rocco assured me that I would receive a check for all the problems that we have incurred during this time frame.
