Alvin Pate Sandra Pate Alvin Pates -Real Estate Scam Artist Alert!! Smooth talker but makes promises too good to be true!! San Diego , California
So my friend and I were introduced to this guy Al (Alvin) through a mutual acquaintance. He claimed he owned 17 homes and paid only a few thousand dollars for these million dollar homes. He claimed to have stopped forclosure for hundreds of families using special little known techniques that only high profile bankers and investors are aware of. He said he did this to help people out of the goodness of his heart. He is a fairly smooth talker but seems to talk in circles and nothing ever really makes sence or adds up.
Bottom line is that he needed 30 to 60k to get the ball rolling for himself again and in return he promised to squash debts, eliminate hundreds of thousands of dollars in IRS debt, and attain homes free and clear from individuals in foreclosure. Red flags were popping up every time he opened his mouth. He seems like a caring Filipino man, but we weren't fooled. Our first instinct was to Google this guys name. Sure enough, he popped up all over as a know San Diego con artist. This was a classic too good to be true senerio.
Also, everything is under his wifes name Sandra Pates.
