AM Eagle, Ltd. ripoff After spending money on many phone calls I still don't have the promised money. It's been 8 months now! The hassle involved has been a most unpleasant experience. Granbury Texas
We were promised gas and dining money of $100 for listening to Consumer's Choice Buyers Club sales pitch. We didn't join.
AM Eagle, Ltd. required a lot of mailing in coupons, stamped self addressed envelops, with receipts in order for us to receive the promised money. We followed their directions completely. Never did we receive one of our self addressed stamped envelops back, which we started mailing in January, 2003.
We phoned many times, paying money for the calls as they don't have an 800 number. On July 28, 2003 we were told a check for $90 would be sent and we should receive it in two weeks.
Today, September 2, 2003, we called again, because we had not received any check. No one would take responsibility for the promised $90. We were told that they didn't receive all of the coupons. They would send us $60 and more coupons to equal the $100 owed. So far we figure we have spent over $5.00 in postage and over $10 in phone calls as we have been put on indefinite hold several times.
Even if we eventually get the money, which we doubt we will, the hassle involved has been a most unpleasant experience. This company should be put out of business!
