American Bankers Insurance / Assurant Evasive , completely useless if you have a problem 11222 Quail Roost Dr. Miami, Florida
A little warning to anyone who has coverage through American Bankers Insurance of Florida/ Assurant,
they will not do anything for claims filed . First you will get the professional response and then the *chuckle* claim adjuster will contact you ( this should take 2+ weeks or more to get an appoinment set up because they were just in your area a day or two ago and cant get back there for a while) they apparently dont take pictures of the damaged areas .
Finally after a month or so you will hear no response and then recieve a letter that your claim has been closed because you didn't have an inspection done .If you call them on the phone and finally get a hold of someone they will send you a letter that your claim isnt covered , then good luck contacting the adjuster after that point they will run you around for hours on false extension #'s and do not believe they will call you back because they will not.
I had storm damage on my manufactured home knocking the siding loose (not off) and now a lot of water damage 1/3 of the walls or more , mold now present and water in an electrical switch everytime it rains but I was told this was not covered because it was long term and maintenance related .
As I continue to live in my unsafe and unhealthy home , looking into finding a lawyer I warn you all if you have any Assurant company for anything , switch companies now or you will regret it .
