I was also ripped off by this company. Furniture never delivered...out of stock. Terrible business. Lied --straight out lied. And honestly, I am not exagerating, while I was there being ripped off trying to find out why my furniture was not being delivered there were AT LEAST four phone calls asking where their furniture was and two others at the counter wondering why their furniture was not in stock. BEWARE of this company. Why would ANYONE make this stuff up? Not disgruntled employees. This company takes advantage of people who are already struggling to make it. One of my friends said it best.....THIS IS WHAT WE GET FOR TRYING TO STIMULATE THE ECONOMY. All we stimulated was the owners pocket. Terrible.

I used to run the store in cincinnati and I'm the only Joe that ran any stores that I know of except for Joe Freeze and Joe Duvy at corp. The company just does an immense amount of business its not that the company tries to screw anybody either, now dont get me wrong there are some internal operations issues that could be resolved, it just takes time, yes Nationwide was a sister company, but it was sold off there are still portions of nationwide in California also the brothers got out of the retail store fronts and got into manufactering except for Steve, also they sell to several other store fronts aswell not including American Freight. Fact is the prices are great so they do an immense amount of volume, and its difficult to track that much inventory, although this is no excuse they're trying to improve, but it takes a lot money to do so, in order to keep that price point on furniture you have to improve little by little or there's going to be a signifigant increase across the board on furniture, soft good/cased goods. You are a "LIAR" and a classic example of a disgruntled employee with deep rooted personal issues. NONE of your comments are true at all. In the begining of your letter you claim to be Sean and yet at the end of the letter you sign it Joe. Who are you Sean or Joe? Did you use those names because they are both VP's and your former boss's at American Freight? The wonderful reputation American Freight has built over the years includes a very high customer satisfaction rate. American Freight has thousands of very satisfied customers. Customer service is paramount to our organization and we strive to improve it every day. If any customers need assistance they can call 1-866-884-6178 Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
