I have dealt with American Freight before, a few times, sometimes you can find good stuff for really cheap, it comes with a price however... They will try to sell you crap you don't want, so much so, it makes you uncomfortable. They'll try to cheat you into lay-a-ways and teflon protection and warranties and blah blah blah.. Ignore all that stuff, they're a back door yard sale furniture equivalent to drug dealers, seriously play the game if you're gonna deal with them, everything they say is crap. *The clear coat protection stuff they charge you 79 plus for usually entails them taking a teflon spray that you could pick up yourself and spraying it out onto your furniture from an old squirt bottle, it's not consistant and it's a quick sloppy job, right before they load it up for you, skip it. *Lay-A-Way? - Oh my gosh, you can't trust that how could you, they will take your money, stuff it into an unmarked plain envelope and throw it to the side or under the counter, I've watched them do it to other people and just think, my god, you don't know where that's going at all. *Delivery? Please.... they don't even know how to help you load stuff onto your truck correctly, I doubt I'd trust them to handle my stuff while i'm not there, much less have it driven to me. I don't think so! *NO* If you're gonna buy furniture from them, come with enough cash for the purchase, tell them you wanna drive away with it that day, hold the cash in your hand and make them bring it to the loading dock, and trust me they'll do it, inspect it there, act iffy and unsure while you inspect the furniture, if it looks all good to you, it's probably a great deal, then give them the cash and load it up yourself, don't let them touch it, they'll get it dirty anyways. Get outta there, and consider it a AS-IS purchase at that point. Doesn't change the fact they act more consumer friendly than they are, but if you're going after the deal, play it smart and fight fire with fire. Don't buy anything super expensive, if you're looking for a large living room suite or bedroom set, go to a reputable furniture store that you trust, we only go there to get "accessory" furniture, like couches for the video game room, and a guest mattress. .etc. (all of which are fine, holding up to their respective usefulness) If you're ever in doubt, walk away, because they aren't gonna help you out, and they don't care what you ordered or whether it was delivered with white glove service, they work on low level commission of some sort, and they'd rather just sit in the warehouse and smoke cigarettes, than seriously deal with you.

Here at American Freight we offer a wide selection of product for every price range. The incredible savings that we pass along to our customers puts much of the inventory in very high demand. Every shipment provides us with only a select number of each set. If your purchase does not come in on our first shipment you will be put to the front of the list on the next. We understand that not every customer is willing to wait several weeks for their merchandise to come in. In situations like this one and others, where our customers wait is prolonged, we are more than happy to offer discounts on upgraded furniture or a full refund. Please contact your local American Freight Superstore and ask for the Regional Managers phone number if you have any general questions. Our customers are our number one priority, and we continue to dedicate all of our resources to provide you with not only great customer service, but quality furniture at affordable prices.
