On 8/22/05 I was excepted to American Intercontinental University Oline. On 10/9/05 I started my online courses with AIU. When I went searching for an online college it was very confusing to me,So when I found AIU, and the woman was so nice I really thought That I had found the right school.

When the woman who was to be my advisor called me for the first time I had told her all that she wanted to know about me including my finances. She sounded so happy for me, and the fact that I may get excepted to teir school.

I really believed that AIU cared for their students, as well as potential students. My college career lasted a total of three weeks. Even though I was told that I did not have to except any loans, that I could go for scolarships, and still be fine. This was told to me by my advisor.

I was also told by my advisor that I did not have to sign any loan papers, on the same hand Financial aid was telling me I had to sign. They were giving me lot's of mixed messages, and I was ver confused.

After all hours, and days of filling out paper work, and writing a heart felt entrance essey to the school. They just tossed me out with the trash. I was devistated, and in shock by the way AIU did it. I even recieved a notice on 9/13/05 that money had been disburst to the school from my pell grant, and Salli Mae.

AIU took money for my education that I did not recieve. I worked really hard that first three weeks, and all for nothing. No I was used by this school, and so were a lot of other people. AIU crushed my dreams, and they took something from me that I can't easily get back. (My faith in mankind).

AIU took my Pell Grant money for books, or whatever reason they gave, and I recieved no education, and no way to fund going to another school. They should not have lied, and decieved me, and I want justice.

Financial Aid called me Three weeks into the course to inform me that if I did not pay the loan I would have to withdraw from school. That day I was blocked out of the online courses. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. I was wronged, and AIU should pay.
