I ordered a queen size foam eggcrate mattress pad from AmericaRX.com.  It cost $89.01 and they charged me an additional $33.50 shipping for a total of $122.51.  The amount was charged to my debit card on 13 February, 2010.  The confirmation email told me my product would arrive within 3 to 5 business days.



Two weeks later, with no mattress pad and no contact from AmericaRX.com telling me what was taking so long, I called them to find out.  The customer service rep explained to me that they have to order products from the manufacturers and wait for them to arrive there and then they ship them on to the customer.  So I asked why they said it'd arrive in 3 to 5 business days and got the run-around. 



So I said whatever.  Three days later, my mattress pad arrives.  I ordered a queen.  The confirmation email I received said it was a queen.  I got a full.  It was dirty.  It smelled very peculiar.  I was upset.



I called the company again to work out the details of returning it.  Of course on the bottom of the shipping label in really tiny letters it says that any returns must be in the original packaging.  Upon talking to the customer service rep, who gave his name as "Bob Bob" (first and last name), he told me that wouldn't be an issue, just send the bulky product back to them at my expense and they'd refund my money.  When asked if I would be refunded the cost of shipping, Bob Bob adamantly refused.  When asked to speak to the billing department, seeing as I was told they were the ones responsible for making that decision, Bob Bob told me they had no phones. 



I was told I'd receive a call from Bob Bob's supervisor when he got back to work, which I am still waiting for.



This experience has taught me to CHECK HERE ON RIPOFF REPORT first before ordering from any online retailer.
