No company can report a false reporting...The company wouldnt have reported you as 30 days unless you were in fact 30 days or there was an error on the companies behalf that your payment didnt get applied. Any company will fix the reporting if it was there fault...ex ..they received the pmt and it was applied to another loan...inturn making your payment show late... but if you sent in your payment and made the check out for less than your payment...then its your fault b/c your full payment wasnt recd. I would first find out why they reported you, if its there error have them fix it. They wouldnt have reported you late in spite.
