I hate to tell you this, but I think its a safe bet that you will never see that money again! This is a major scam, running rampant, bilking literally thousands of people every week! These guys are slick, you wired the money to Canada?? That was a mistake, and just part of the scam. This guy tells you he has his legal team working on your case? Thats a lie-----there is no legal team!! The got you for $900.00 once, then came back and got you for $900.00 AGAIN!! And then, because they got you twice already, their greed kicked into overdrive and they hit you a THIRD time!! I feel for you, I really do, but that money is helping these guys have a nice Christmas, making payments on their Lexus, helping them take luxury cruises, and who knows what else!! Chalk it up to experience and move on.........

There isn't a company (anywhere) in Connecticut called 'Ameritrust Lending' on Danbury Road that they list as a business address. This company is a FRAUD. DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE!!!! THEY ARE WORKING OUT OF CANADA, AND IT IS AGAINST THE LAW FOR A MORTGAGE COMPANY (IN CT) TO TAKE ANY UP-FRONT FEES, OF ANY KIND! SHOULD YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS, CONTACT THE DEPARTMENT OF BANKING IN CT, AND CONTACT THE CT BBB @203/269-2700, OR FILE A COMPLAINT ON THEIR WEBSITE @ WWW.BBB.ORG. AGAIN - DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY.
