Anyam Rodgers Pupa In Cameroon, Douala An African man with bad english called from his cell #00237-7457-3516,using a US #912-344-9400,asking me to pay shipping of $180.00 for birdcage and bird to be sent from Douala Airport to me,. Cameroon Douala (Africa)
Ad placed as giveaway talking pair of African Grey Parotts. Man stated his bird was named Molly and it belonged to his deceased daughter and he had to give it away because of the memories. He stated he worked Globle Broad based health care company devolted to discovering new medicines and new technolgies and new ways to manage your health.
He asked questions as to was I a breeder, did I have kids, and did I promise to send pictures and would I take care of the bird. He only talked about one bird but advertised two talking birds. He answered my E-mail quickly and used
bad english. He stated the bird had a passport, shots , vet record and all he asked for was $180.00 shipping cost and he had to transfer his name on the papers to my name as he was shipping it from Cameroon, Douala (Africa) airport to me. Then he asked for my name, address, nearest airport to me.
I gave him this info and then he asked me to send him cash via Western Union or walmart Money gram. I found the Ripoff report and read a few articals simular to this man and e-mailed him that there was scam's being reported from Cameroon and that he should ship the bird to someone he new in the U.S. and I would meet them and pay more than $180.00. That I was willing to pay $400.00. Or he could ship the bird and trust me to pay him after I received the bird and cage. He never answered my E-mail
