AOL BILLING RIP OFF new york Internet
Just another x-aol user. I cancelled service and I was offered 2 free months to stay. Billing cycle was up in october 25 , I called back cancelling the 22nd. The rep offered me another 2 months free I declined and proceeded with the cancellation. Well here I am in November and I got a bill from aol for $23.90 for a one month charge for sept? hello ? I called their billing dept. , I got the runarround for 10 minutes.
I talked to the rep finally and all he had to say was that the charges were valid. I ended the call telling him well try squeezing water out of a rock (I am not paying).

God, they really suck! How many others have to ripped off by this crappy company? They scam people, left and right, and they still can't report a profit! Boy am I glad that I never bought any of their stock, I know people that not only got scammed with their AOL not being cancelled when it was confirmed it would be, but they had to take it in the pooper again by losing money on they stock! Down with AOL!
