Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I bought a sleigh bed from Ashley Furniture for about $1200 with the promise of getting it in 4 to 6 weeks. After 5 weeks they called and said it would now be another 4 to six weeks. They gave us a gift card worth $100 for our troubles.

Another 5 weeks go by and they can us again and say it will be another 4 to six weeks. This was unaccteptable.

They told us they would give us a 12% discount on anthing else we want in the store to keep our business. They promised us this never happens and it would certainly not happen again.

We picked out another bed set worth twice as much as the first, about $2200. They said that they are 99.9% sure this will be at our home in four to six weeks.

As of today it has been five weeks. They called us this morning and told us it would be another four to six weeks.

We went to the store and the manager said there's nothing he could do and repeated that this never happens. I said to him, "so basically we're s**t out of luck?" His response was, "yes." The Store manager's name that told us this is Kevin Brown.

We like this bed a lot, so I asked him, "considering everything that has happen thus far, what discount are we going to get now?" His response was "none."

He said it's not his fault, it is Ashley Furniture's fault. I asked him who then I need to talk to above him to get some satisfaction and he told me that there was no one and there's absolutely nothing I could do.

I would advise everybody I can, never to shop here and not to believe anything thing they say. They overpromise and underdeliver.

Brent, Of course the manager is going to tell you there is "no one else" for you to talk to! That is pure BS! Ashley has recently been given exposure on a fox home and family makeover show so you need to google Ashley and start writing letters and making calls! That should definately start things changing in your favor. Personally, no matter what they had told me locally I would have ALREADY been complaining (but nicely and respectfully) by just documenting my situation and disappointment in letters. Keep us posted!
