Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Aspire Visa will intentionally neglect to send a customer a current billing statement in the mail and charges a $35 late fee and/or higher interest rate when your payment arrives late.

Aspire Customer Service (in India) explains the billing statement was returned to them by the Post Office. This is a standard response.

Aspire Visa posts a company policy on the their Internet site under FAQ at aspirecard.com/faq1.html, (because they regularly engage in this unfair, unethical and illegal business practice)

Quote:

"Q: I did not receive my statement last month and I was charged a late fee. I need to get the late fee waived since I did not receive a statement.

A: A statement was mailed to your current address. Unfortunately, although you did not receive your statement, you are still obligated to pay your minimum payment by the due date.

Phone calls, faxes and emails to Aspire Visa requesting crdeits and undoing of penalties are ignored and/ or unanswered.

It is my hope that others who have experienced similar problems with these people will report there experiences here. It is also my fervent hope that somebody will go after these slime-bags who prey on people who are honestly attempting to re-build their credit status.

Mike, I became a customer of Aspire Visa about 3 months ago. Since then, luckily, I have not had any problems with the company. (I'm keeping my fingers crossed) But something that may help you a bit is on their website you can go to make a payment. Go into that and check your balance. I have found it extremely helpful.(but I wouldn't actually make the payment, it's $15 dollars) Before I even get my bill in the mail I know when and how much is due. I know you want an itemized statement but this feature can also help you track your balance and due date.
