Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I, like John, was charged (59.95) actually, 64.15 on my credit card, a month for something I had no idea I was going to being charged.

This company deceptively offers you a free trial for $1.95, which end up charging your card for 4.95. When I called to ask, they claimed it was taxes but I highly doubt it considering the price difference. That is over 200% in tax! Granted I should have been more diligent of my credit card statement, I missed these charges for a year! Basically I let, due to missing it, them steal $800.00 from me.

When I realized that the charge of $64.15 was not related to some family subscriptions I pay for...I called the company.

The woman on the phone, when I went to cancel the account. She actually got snotty with me on the phone when I told her that I didn't read anything about having to cancel the account beyond the 7day free trial for 1.95.

I realized I was scammed, total scam, when she said the charge was a 1.95 and I couldn't find that in my statement but had a 4.95 charge which she then told me was taxes. In addition, she said they didn't monitor the website to see if you were using the "website" they gave you on the trail.

I wasn't even aware there was a website they "gave me." I told her this and she ignored that I had even said anything. Their website, i don't even know how or where the actual site it that I signed up for.

Anyhow, I got the free trial to look at the products they offered and when I realized the prices were higher than what I already paid I canceled the account on their website.

****(i.e. canceled the username and password.) *****Apparently this does not cancel the 'website' they give you or the monthly recurring charges.****

BEWARE BEWARE THESE PEOPLE ARE LESS THAN HONEST.

NOTE: American express will refund your card for 3 billing cycles. The company gleefully will offer you the same since they know that the credit card companies can't dispute charges older than 90 days.

Keep a very close eye on your credit cards people as these free trials are not free....even the ones with small charges end up.

John, another poster, said the cancellation was written in the terms and agreements section on the last line. I never saw this either. One would figure when you cancel your subscription on the site it would cancel the recurring charge? Which I didn't know about anyhow...so I got screwed comming and going.

He is correct it is common practice. Always use AMEX and never your visa/mc as AMEX will stand by you as much as they can. VISA/MC is for the merchant always.
