This Company AuctionSuccessTeam.com including these individuals Terry Meyer and Valerie Bingaman should be viewed as questionable individuals, I was approached and lead to believe with a little effort on my part (5-10 hours per week) I could easily make $3000-$5000 a month ... Sounds GOOD! so I paid for what I thought was my ticket to easy street ... I put in the time and then some, learning all about search engine optimization, keywords, how to build traffic to your website, ect. sometime's gruelling well into the night ... eventually

I created a website with thier software, but was limited to what was available in the way of choices (color, font style, ect.) nonetheless I actually had a website ...

after doing more research I bought the Dremweaver MX2004 software to help fine tune the things I didnt like about the limitations involved with thier software, when I emailed Valerie Bingaman (tech support for auction success team) and after several days, I was informed I couldn't change anything in the website with outside software and actually she had never even heard of Dreamweaver software, GRRRR!

When I was initially approached by Terry Meyer, I was concerned about the age of my computer and the fact I didn't have DSL or a Cable connection I was led to believe by Terry Meyer I could actually run a website on a dial-up connection, HARDLY!

I tried to have friends of mine, buy things off my website but to no avail, it seemed as if the only thing that was there, was the pictures. After a YEAR of doing this, and paying the hosting fee of $100.00 a month, I decided to try and contact Valerie to send me a digital copy of my website code, so I could host it on another server ... for alot less.

BEFORE SHE RETURNED MY EMAIL, SHE DELETED MY WEBSITE CODE! then told me it is copywrited in thier name.... huh?

HOW CAN THAT BE? IT BELONGS TO ME, I PAID FOR IT.

By simply asking for the code (electronic copy) I never told anybody to cancel anything!

This is how I see it ... I paid alot of money to have a website on the net for over year, that I never recieved one red cent in revenue from, all the hard work and long gruelling hours creating it, was all for nothing! Im heavily in debt and working to pay those incurred expence's off from my outside job, My advise to anybody who has any dealings with AuctionSuccessTeam, Terry Meyer or Valerie Bingaman or thier questionable business practices "SHOULD BEWARE" and look no further then the Better Business Bureau http://www.saltlakecity.bbb.org/index.html for all the answers to what these people are up to according to the report I recieved, this company has an UNSATISFACTORY RECORD with the bureau due to unanswered complaints and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!

When the company was owned by Mr. Kilpack the customers where not the only ones getting ripped off, the employees where too. I was not fired, I left the company with a nice wadd of money in my pocket every week because the reason why I had to leave is because of Matthew, a team leader who IS crazy. If you look at other rip off reports it notes him in there and you'll know what I'm talking about. Hey think I'm disgruntelled (not sure on the spelling)? Look at the other rip off reports, look at V-Auction Pro under the ebay solutions directory, you think I'm disgruntelled, hell, I'm being nice about the company being a scam compared to some people. As employees, they are paid to smile and say nice things about the company.. The company is now owned by someone else and although he is a nice guy, the company is still based on the same scam. Yeah, when I made all that money doing the business I knew what I was doing and had such a large network from prior businesses I had owned before. It was easy for me. The little guy who has never owned a business before would have no idea. You know how hard it is to set up a business with your state plus having to deal with commerce laws of selling on the internet and hundreds of other people trying to scam you. Microsoft has better software for $24.95 a month, does the same thing, full integration, the difference, you don't get the crazy auction success team employees. The way they get around things is changing business names often, owners and or location. Look up V-Motion, Auction Success Team used to be V-Motion but changed the name due to the poor rating. would be more than happy to answer any questions or help out with getting a refund: [email protected]. And NO, you can't run anything on a dial-up connection. DSL or Cable is getting to be about the same price as dial-up but is not offered at all locations of the US.

On February 15, 2007, the business provided the following information: We stand by our products and program. Again, we don't promise success but make our best effort to coach our customer to success. Some people can make this business run others can't. Unfortunately, (name omitted) did not succeed. Valerie was a disgruntled employee who was fired. She has tried to damage our company many times including sending her own bogus reports on the "rip off report." If Valerie made these comments, she was out of line and was rightfully dismissed. Our position will not change. We offered a service, we provided the service as long as (name omitted) wanted it, and cancelled the service when requested. (name omitted) request is outrageous, no arbitration services are necessary. We owe (name omitted) no compensation. Follow this Case on the utah/bbb case#22036905 I would like to see the list of these "many customers" he claims to have and the url's of those customers websites. When Valerie claims ITS A SCAM and she worked there as a couch! Im not sure how much more you need. The whole operation is a SCAM because you can NOT do what they claim you can do, which is Valeries claim as well. Just read the ripoffreport.com and you can see there are many people dissatisfied with this company. I wonder why they have so many address's? It seems as if everytime I try to find thier address, it changes to something else! I never told anybody to cancel my subscription and after paying for their worthless service for over a year and spending thousands of dollars on software and the like, I have nothing to show for it? To start a business online and cancel after a few months is ASSININE, his claim of not locking customers in, is worthless as well! If I was to create a website that actually worked (i.e. was revenue generating) that would be one thing but, thats NOT the case or could even be a reality with this program. I highly doubt there is ONE WEBSITE that is a customer of this scam artist, that I can actually speak to, to get a favorable response, in regards to V-Motion or Auction Success Team's proscam (program) Im looking for anybody else that has had a bad experience with this company and thier ruthless, deceptive advertising and misleading sales pitch and wants to join me in this battle im having with them, they need to be stopped from praying on the innocent consumers they are constantly bombarding with email campain's that most people are NOT interested in. I could go on forever ... contact me, lets talk.

Why Would An Internet Business Be Easier Than Any Other Type Of Small Business?

#4Consumer Comment

Sat, November 25, 2006

The previous poster stated that the only reason anyone shops on the internet is to save money, and while that may be true in many cases, it's not for me. I use the internet because I HATE SHOPPING AT STORES. Yes, I am female, and I hate shopping at stores! So, for me, saving money is not the issue. I probably COULD save money if I loved to go from store to store and shop around and compare prices, etc. But, not interested! I love the convenience of shopping when I want, and have actually been able to sublimate the need for instant gratification to the point where I can wait to receive my purchases instead of having to have them NOW. And I DO love being able to ship gifts to recipients without having to lift a finger to do so beyond filling out their shipping information. However, as far as people hoping to capitalize off of people like me, and I KNOW I'm hardly the only one with these kinds of reasons - one immediate obstacle to a new website retailer's success is that I won't buy from unknown websites. With the 1000s of reputable, well-established companies offering every service and product I could be looking for, I am not going to take chances on websites that are just the opposite. It isn't that the unknown websites, by virtue of being unknown, are automatically not reputable. The problem is no reputation, be it good or bad. No reputation also equates to not well-established. I am all for people starting their own businesses, and I sincerely wish them all success. But, as for starting an internet business, no way is it going to be easy money. It's going to cost you money, as starting ANY business is going to, and if it is to be successful, there's no reason to think that it isn't going to require any LESS work than establishing a business in a community. The OP said that, indeed, they spent many hours on the venture, which sounds like far more than the 5-10 hours per week originally promised. Anyone who plans to have a non-internet business would, hopefully!, never even begin to think that their business will only require 5-10 hours of their time each week. Only on the internet do people seem to believe that's possible. An internet business will still need the owner to advertise, generate interest, receive traffic, and have people be willing to take a risk on doing business with them. Not to mention needing to become established as a business owner, which does require being educated on accounts receivable, payable, liability to customers, tax code knowledge and compliance, and a heck of a lot of other subjects. In establishing a storefront business in a community, you have, at least, the added benefit of an actual, physical location that may serve to bring people INTO your business. If you have a home-based business, that's a real challenge to establish, as well, but at least you are in the community you are wanting to serve, which is certainly smaller than the population of internet users. With the internet, you have to have people coming to your site. They first have to know your site exists. With the innumerable amount of websites that any search will bring up, on any given subject, getting YOUR website to the top of the first page, wow - I don't think that happens for the average brand-new internet retailer, regardless of how much advice they receive on keywords, search engine optimization, etc. All the other new internet business owners are receiving the exact same advice. You can't all rise to the top. Then, there is the issue of the bad press that so many unknown websites DO receive, via this site, and many others. Any consumer who is hoping to not get scammed is going to be justifiably wary of dealing with an unknown quantity. I'm sorry to say it, but I do hope this awareness only grows, as I hate seeing all these reports of people be ripped off by yet another internet scam artist that lured the unwary with a website that they all seem to say looked so legitimate!. Ted Bundy looked like a legitimate human being, if I may say so. How the quality of a business can be judged by how nice their website looks, I'm not sure. At least with a business in your community, if a customer is dissatisfied, they know where to FIND the business again. This is another reason I won't shop at unknown websites. As is so often attested to, when a consumer tries to return to a website that has scammed them, what do you know, IT'S NOT THERE ANYMORE. As a final warning regarding shopping at internet sites, if a consumer somehow believes that the U.S. law may offer some protection, they may be in for a rude shock. Just because a website offers U.S. based phone numbers or addresses, if they even offer ANY, that doesn't mean, in any way, that they are, in fact, a U.S. business. You can be the U.S. Attorney General, yourself, and if you were scammed by a foreign business, U.S. consumer protection laws aren't going to affect the foreign scam artist much. I have been shopping for over 20 years through mail order catalog companies, and since 1999, on the internet, and I wholeheartedly endorse both. But it was through my experiences with the catalog companies that I learned you have to be careful about shopping from any unknown business that you are not actually standing in. And, even so, look at all the complaints about well-known businesses, with actual stores, with 1000s of complaints! As far as ebay goes, I sure have thought about that as far as how I might be able to use it to make additional income. Trouble is, I don't have enough junk to sell! I like my stuff!! As far as becoming part of some business that would let me post items for sale, then drop ship from the manufacturer, etc., that is starting a home business, and I'm not really interested in that. Making a few bucks off my unwanted junk, sure, but like I said, I like my stuff lololol. In any event, I hope that SOMEBODY will read these posts and have the blinders removed from their eyes about the ease and instant profits of starting their own internet company. I'm so sorry to keep reading about all these people falling for the pie in the sky when, if they would have done research, on the very internet they hope to make millions from, they would've learned a few things that would have ended up saving them hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars, and wasted time, and added stress and frustration from believing in hype that only served to enrich another scam artist. If anyone should read this who HAS established an internet business that allows them to earn ALL their income from the business, and it only requires 5-10 hours a week, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE POST ON THIS REPORT!!! I'm serious!! However, I would be real surprised, as if someone IS doing just that, I doubt they'd want to share the secret of their success.

The internet is a very efficient market

which means that there is enough information and access to products to maximize competition and minimize seller profits. Businessmen do NOT like competition: If you have a walk-in camera store, there is no internet, and your closest competing walk-in camera store is 100 miles away, you can almost charge what you want and then you have great profits justified by your great service (Hey, your there, aren't you?). But if you have a walk-in camera store, there is an internet, and you have many competing walk-in camera stores become established fairly close by, you will have a profit deficiency problem. I have bought Mirage Plus SS props, a Conrad-Johnson preamp, and several other as-new items on ebay at 1/2 or less of their new-item price that either were not available here or that would cost me their full new-unit price to buy here. But if I actually have saved money on the internet, the internet seller must get less profit for his sale. Saving money is the 'why', and the 'only why', that I and other people buy anything on the internet.

There is only one way to make money from this AuctionSuccess nonsense. That's by selling the scam to people who are expecting to make $500 an hour.

#6Consumer Suggestion

Fri, November 24, 2006

Think about this for a second. This company claims to have a way to make $500 per hour, right? So, why are they trying to sell the deal to you for $5,000? Wouldn't it be easier for them to just spend 10 hours on their own auctionsuccess website instead? That way, they could make the money without bothering to hassle you for it. Plus, if there really was a way to actually make $500 an hour, wouldn't everybody be doing it? Wouldn't it be all over the evening news? Our top story: Stop everything. Quit your job. Stop whatever you're doing and start making $500 per hour with auctionsuccess! Don't you think the whole world would be doing this, if it really was true? Here's how the scam works. It doesn't matter what kind of website you make. Dreamweaver. a*s-weaver. Basket weaver. None of that matters because there's no money to be made, no matter what kind of site you try. You might be able to unload your personal trash on Ebay. Of course, selling something for $50 that cost you $450 a few years ago is not a profit. It's simply unloading your household trash onto ebay suckers. But, then what? There are a million people who all went out and found a wholesale source of junk to sell on ebay. Some of them are making money. After all, ebay is a sucker's paradise. But, nothing like $500 per hour. Try $500 per week, maybe. If they're lucky. Here's the real story. There's no fortune waiting for you on the internet. Maybe 20 years ago, you could have found someone to invest in a sock puppet and tried to hustle off dog food. But, those days are long gone. Did you know, for example, that only 5% of all the web sites ever make money? Did you know that more people have LOST money on the web than ever made money? So, why does this internet nonsense go on? Because, newbie fools THINK there is a fortune there. So, they spend five grand to get some of those internet millions. After years of pouring money down a black hole, they finally wise up. Or rather, run out of money. Most of them never wise up. They just end up running out of money. And, that puts an end to their big internet dreams. See, that's the part you never hear about. Nobody brags about how they lost ten grand on a web site. The only thing you ever hear is how a friend of somebody from work made $500,000 in 90 days. Of course, nobody ever gets to actually meet the person with the money. It's always a guy that so-and-so knows. Or a friend of my second-cousin, once removed, on my father's side. In other words, it's an urban fairy tale. There are no internet millionaires anymore. There's only poor people chasing fairy-tale nonsense, who end up spending all their savings and some of their rent money. You'd be better off buying lottery tickets! At least there is a one in 10,000,000 chance of actually getting something back. On the internet, there is no chance. I paid a lot of money to have a website on the net for over a year, that I never received one red cent. There you have it. That's the person's own words, from above. How much more evidence do you need? Trust me, I looked into this internet e-commerce thing a long time ago. Here's what I found. There is only one way to make money off the internet. That's by selling some kind of get-rich-quick scam to idiots. Coincidentally, that's exactly what auction-success is doing. Perhaps, you could box up your whole get-rich-quick deal and hustle it off on ebay. There are always mountains of fools waiting there to buy whatever trash that people find at the bottom of a rusty barrel. Original price: Over $5,900. Steal it now for just $650. At least that would put a few bucks back in your pocket. An expensive lesson. That's about all you got for your money. Cut your losses. Forget about your precious website. Box up whatever flash and trash that they sent you in the mail, and try to find an even bigger sucker to buy it off you. And, if you ever go for some crazy deal that you find on the internet, pick one that claims that you can make $20 per hour. Not $500 per hour. When you see some crazy number, it's always a scam. Common sense. At least the $20 might be real. Of course, if it comes off the internet, who can say? Better yet, head on over to the local library. Look up home business and small business in their book catalog. Check out a dozen books. That's how you build a real business. Live and learn, I guess.

Yes this is a scam, can you do what they say you can online, NO! How to get your money back, it is called a chargeback, call your credit card company asap and do it. Reason, services rendered are nothing as described. Valerie Former Coach
