AuraVie Deceptive, popup on Nordstroms making you believe it was a Nordstroms ad, rude customer service, terms and conditions listed on another website. Sioux Falls, South Dakota
I was Christmas shopping on the Nordstrom's site and a popup came up offering a free sample of AuraVie facial products. The terms and conditions were not in plain site and you were led to a different link. It appeared from the pop-up that Nordstroms was selling the product. Since Nordstroms is a noted retailer, I thought I was safe. After receiving a $98.00 fee on my credit card, I called their customer service number. I told them there advertising was misleading and unethical and was put out there to trick people into a long term commitment to their product. The terms and conditions were at a different site which I should have, I admit, studied more closely. However, when talking with them about it the representative was rude and told me there was no way I could charge back the amount of the purchase. Consumers be aware of the links that pop up because it appears they are deceptive and unethical. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. In addition, their e-mail does not work when I tried to get a cancellation number.
