I'm an authorhouse author myself. Did you know that you can request a print summary? Talk to Eugene Hopkins. I found him helpful and prompt.

Author House is simply another vanity publisher who uses slick marketing techniques to obscure that fact. Publish America (also known as Publish Anything) is another vanity press that tries to con new authors, much like Author House does. You might want to check out the website publishamericasucks.com as well as the many ripoff reports on Publish America. The rule for publishing is this: money is supposed to flow FROM the publisher TO the author, not the other way around. If the "publisher" demands money from the author, it's a vanity press regardless of what the "publisher" calls itself or whatever their slick ad copy says.
