Don't fill out the application for Authorize.net.  Unlike Paypal, they automatically charge you non-refundable sign up fees a month later.  Also, I was charged for a month of service even though I canceled the account as soon as the payment showed up on my bank account.  Basically, if you fill out the application, say good bye to $120!  For some reason, I'm being charged $158.19... who knows where the extra charges came from... I canceled the payments through my bank and now Authorize.net is sending a collection agent after me!

The customer service is horrible too.  I tried calling them to cancel the payments and they said, "Sorry, the sales team is out of the office."  Really, your entire sales team is having a fun day?  The guy in charge of sales is Brad Diamond.  You can't EVER get in touch with him.  I finally spoke with him after numerous tries and being linked directly to his phone.  He avoided my questions and wouldn't tell me anything other than "If you don't pay, your credit will take a hit."  Then he said, "Let me transfer you."

I listened to transfer music for 18 minutes (I timed it) and then a message came on and said their is a problem with the system and it cut off.  Then I try calling the sales department directly and the message says, "The sales department isn't available.  They're out at the moment."

Don't use authorize.net.  Unlike the millions of websites on the internet that have Make Payment buttons, they use legal jargon and shady tactics to get money from you.

I had the same problem. I applied, they sent me an email saying I was approved, then 3 days later received an email saying I was not approved. Brad pretty much told me "We have your money, have a nice life". Nice company. I filed a claim with BBB, and reversed the fees with my bank. Ha Ha Brad, I got my money!!! Ha Ha.

I just enrolled with authorize.net. i process my very first payment. I have no need to call customer service at this point. this company is offering a very small fee for their services. You pay for what get. Most of the complaints, I read were people who got rejecteded, of course they will complain. I was informed about the fee's. most application fee's are non-refundable.

Authorize.net Misleading Application Horrible Customer Service

Don't fill out the application for Authorize.net.  Unlike Paypal, they automatically charge you non-refundable sign up fees a month later.  Also, I was charged for a month of service even though I canceled the account as soon as the payment showed up on my bank account.  Basically, if you fill out the application, say good bye to your money!  For some reason, I'm being charged over 150 dollars... there were random fees put in.  I canceled the payments through my bank and now Authorize.net is sending a collection agent after me!

The customer service is horrible too.  I tried calling them to cancel the payments and they said, "Sorry, the sales team is out of the office."  Really, your entire sales team is out?  The guy in charge of sales is Brad Diamond.  You can't EVER get in touch with him.  I finally spoke with him after numerous tries and being linked directly to his phone.  He avoided my questions and wouldn't tell me anything other than "If you don't pay, your credit will take a hit."  Then he said, "Let me transfer you."  I listened to transfer music for 18 minutes (I timed it) and then a message came on and said their is a problem with the system and it cut off.

Then I try calling the sales department directly and the message says, "The sales department isn't available.  They're out at the moment."  After calling a dozen times I eventually get Brad's manager on the phone.  I'd think this guy would show some respect, but it was the opposite.  He mocked me, and went so far as to say, "I really don't care."  That's word for word.

Don't use authorize.net.  Unlike the millions of websites on the internet that have Make Payment buttons, they use legal jargon and shady tactics to get money from you.
