Here is a copy of the email I sent this seller:

I just want to let you know that you have been reported to ebay and bidpay as well as my credit card company and whom ever else I feel obligated to contact. You also have an open complaint on ripoffreport.com to showcase how unethical you are by posting false auctions, collecting the money, and then closing your account before the people you took advantage of could leave you negative feedback.

Upon further investigation, it is known that this is not the only ebay name you have used, and that includes cliffordscollections, musicmatt06, rondiscs, and showtimehanover66; all which of were opened within a few days of each other. Your callback number is also a fax machine.

You need to understand that taking money for a product and not providing that product is a crime called stealing. No matter how you decide to look at it, it is still illegal. Not only did you take my money and probably several others' money and ran, you felt the need to give yourself a little more time to do it to more people by sending me the email below, to hold me off from posting negative feedback in which to warn others of your scam before you could close your account.

You knew that item was never sent, but felt the need to lie about it. You are a very dishonest person, and I hope that one day you will realize how wrong it is to take advantage of others.

----------------------------------------------

I paid her for a gift that I was to give at a baby shower. A week and a half AFTER I paid and was told the item was sent, I wrote her an email asking when to expect it.

Instead of ignoring me because she took my money, she actually wrote me back a date that it was sent out and that she would get back to me. That never happened. She posted several false auctions and closed her account before anyone could leave her negative feedback and warn anyone else that paid for her auctions. She also has different ebay names that she goes by:

"cliffordscollections" opened 10/11/06,

"aidavalazybab" opened 10/23/06,

"musicmatt06" opened 10/9/06,

"rondiscs" opened 10/10/06, and

"showtimehanover66" opened 10/11/06.

All of these just so happen to follow the "dine and dash" trend and are all closed. I am curious if anyone else had problems with these ebay members? Thank you..

The item that I had paid for was an $8 book so it wasn't a big loss. Im more upset at the fact that she took the money and ran, then played a game to hold me off from posting negative feedback. When I bid on the item she had 15 positive feeback, all which stated: fast shipping, great seller, ect; so I decided to bid on one of her items. If you check the feedback now that it is closed, it states she only has 6 feedback period. I dont know what happened there. Seems kinda strange. Im not going to go the route of harassing her over $8, but I would like to see her get what she deserves if I can find other people that she's screwed. I did send her the link to this complaint hoping she would try to defend herself, but if she's like all the other scammers she wont seem to care either way.

OP Nikki never told us what the loss was.... I remember an ebay seller of laptop PC's who collected the buyers' money and then shipped, with actual package tracking numbers sent to the buyers. The tracking info included the (correct) package weight.... Unfortunately when the buyers opened their packages, they found.... telephone books!
