Banco Popular Checkbooks prices are not visible before ordering San Juan PR
Hi tried to order checkbooks from Banco Popular of Puerto Rico (popular.com), and they use Harland Clarke for this operation. Went to the online site, picked up my selection, to finally notice that it is impossible to know the price in advance.
The site tells me to use the Contact us button to know it, but doing so just says to contact my financial institution. Ok, so I contact Banco Popular, who replies I can order by email through them, but in the end "The company that processes the order will charge you for it directly to your account. The amount of the charge will be determined by them.". WTF? They can charge me whatever they want AFTER I put the order? In 2016? This is a scam!
Banco Popular and Harland Clarke should be ashamed of such practice, and people should know about it.
