Barden/Bass Exploration Dennis Bass Almost Impossible to Due Business With Terrell Texas
My father begain receiving calls from a representative of this company 3-4 years ago. At some points the calls were every day. At first my father was skeptical and questioned how this individual obtained his mobile phone number, he was very uneasy about the entire situation. Through persistence, my father was convinced that this was an above board operation and that they could be trusted and he invested $100K in the development of oil wells in Oklahoma.
The development of these wells took much longer than the timeline he had been given and there seemed to be numerous obstacles to getting these wells online and prodcing both oil and natural gas. Once they had begun to produce my father began seeing checks from their production but not near the amounts he had been told.
He was convinced to invest a similar amount in an equal number of wells that were being developed close to the ones of his initial investment. TO my knowledge, these wells are still not online and I have no information about their progress, which is the reason for this report.
My father passed away on June 18, 2015. Since that time I have called the number that can be found with a simple Google search. I have reached an answering service most times and left a detailed message about the reason for my call. All I am asking is that my father's estate be given information about his investment. The total amount he has invested, the number of wells that investment represents and the state of each of these wells. To date, no one from Barden/Bass exploration has returned my call.
I am not ready to come out and state that this is a rip-off but it most certainly is beginning to seem that it is. The fact that no one has made any attempt to contact either myself or the executor of my father's and mother's estate is disturbing to say the least. I believe but do not know for certain that the total investment is somewhere in the neghborhood of $200K. For that type of money, a return phone call is the least this company can do.
