They have no clue what they are doing over there.  I ordered gift cards for xmas, they told me they would be here in time.... when I didnt receive a tracking number, I called them back and then they told me the gift cards would not be there in time.  So I did E cards..... after being on the phone with them about 3-4 different times in one day.... my father went all the way to the store... and neither the gift cards or the e cards would work.  Both had 0dollars on them!  Then I look at my credit card statement..... they over charged me.  Now would they fix it?  ya they credited me back................. after the long long long hassle... did they do anything else to fix it.  Nope.  didnt care... nothing.  Biggest idiots that work there.

I have a friend who is in a current lawsuit against Bass Pro Shops. His work truck was damaged by Bass pro employees on a forklift, during the Grand opening of the Garland TX store. Bass pro refused to repair it or file a claim on it. It was
his work truck and the damage made him appear "trashy" when he pulled up to a customers home. His business fell off almost 90% that very week due to the first impression made to customers with the damaged truck.

In the lawsuit his attorney did not handle it well, at the day of trial his attorney stated he was not ready, but the court forced him to go to trial anyway. My friend spoke up and stated his attorney had not even completed discovery. The Judge (a friend) of the Bass pro attorney told them to go into the hallway and complete discovery.

After the accident, 9 employees of the store and over 10 at the corporate office dealt with the damage, but at trial, Bass Pro through its attorneys testified to the court that all those employees no longer worked there and they could not
provide contact information. They claim no insurance claim was filed so they could not provide any insurance records. Bass pro also refused to turn over any forklift driver information, names, certification, etc. claiming none of the worked there any more either. Bass pro also testified that the video surveillance had gone out for that a 15 minute time span when the truck was struck.

Without any documents are testimony from the employees who handled it, or the forklift drivers themselves, He was forced to except less than even the damage to the truck was, he got nothing for their stalling and destroying his
business.

The important part is what came after they settled that day. Within a week he discovered all the forklift drivers names, including the one who struck the pickup, who said he had been fired for it, and that it was captured on surveillance
video. It was discovered that all 10 employees at its headquarters, and 8 of the 9 at the local store were still there, AND BASS PRO HAD LIED TO THE COURT ABOUT THEM NO LONGER BEING EMPLOYED.

It was also discovered and he has the documents on the fact that the lies and deception were due to the fact that it was there Grand Opening and someone at the headquarters had never extended the insurance policy to cover that new store. That was a violation of state law, county law, and city ordinance.

Everything Bass Pro Shops stated on the court record, was a lie a perjury. My friend then started taking attempts to correct the lies and get something done about it. The attorney for Bass pro refused to return his calls, so he sent a letter to Johnny Morris and the CEO of the board for Bass Pro.

Mr. Morris is just a figure head since the co. went public and has no power, the CEO has no daily control, he just sits on the board. They both instructed the headquarters and attorneys to correct what had happened, and not to put the company in a bad light. That was the right thing for them to do. The problem is the headquarters and the attorneys decided avoid having to admit what they did in open court, and the punishment that goes with that. So they decided to go back to the judge who was a friend, and asked for a restrain order to keep  the victim from telling anyone or contacting anyone to do something about it.

That entire company from the head down is nothing but liars and crooks, even after they are proved to be lying they would rather spend thousands of dollars in a cover up, than admit a few employees crossed the line trying to hide the mistakes they had made, at the time of the Grand Opening and after the accident.

Take your Business to Academy, Cabelas, Walmart, or any other store but them.

First of all "you" do the ecards yourself we don't and cant do them at store level. If you don't follow the instructions and make sure you submit your ecard wont have the money on it. That situation has nothing to do with the store, the store isn't putting the information into your computer. However..I don't know when this occured but if you will call 1-800-basspro they can and will take care of that for you. The corporate office has abilities to internet orders that stores don't have. As for you "ordering" gift cards I don't understand that situation because all stores have tons of gift cards at all times that isn't something they would have to order. Also as for your credit card being charged but no money on the cards again call 1-800-basspro and they can take care of that for you also. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience but I assure you if you will call the number I gave you they will make everything right for you. I hope you will update after you call them I would like to know that they took care of you.
