Baum Plumbing, LLC Robert "Treg" Baum, Horse Killer! purposefully drowned his horse! Queen Creek, Arizona
Robert "Treg" Baum, mostly known as Treg, purposefully drowned his horse in front of hundreds of people, including families and children during 4th of July celebrations 2010 at Black Canyon Lake, outside of Heber, Arizona.
Treg was there with several friends drinking a lot of alcohol while trying to "teach his horses to swim," he later claimed. He was forcing his animals into the deep lake while they were wearing full gear, saddle bags, a bit, etc. He had no lasso or other materials a responsible owner would have while attempting such an act. During one of these "swimming lessons" Hank, the horse was acting up and did not want to go back into the water for a 2nd time, but Treg pressed on and forced Hank into the water to "teach him a lesson," he was overheard gloating. Treg Baum rigged his bridle in such a way as to force Hank's mouth / nostrils into the water. Treg Baum was upset that Hank disobeyed him and made him look bad in front of his friends he kept forcing Hank's head under and would not let him re-surface. After a strenuous struggle Hank did not re-surface and was deemed dead due to drowning.
After the horse stopped fighting and sank to the bottom of the lake Treg Baum retreated from the water laughing and said, "it's ok, I have 20 more at home!" He continued to enjoy his celebration that evening immediately heading back to the beer cooler for a refreshing beverage after such hard work of killing his horse.
Unfortunately, due to the small town / rural community that Heber, Arizona is located in no criminal charges have been filed at this time. The deputies and sheriff are notorious for brushing these types of injustices under the rug. The town is almost all related and most are "buddy - buddy" through their Mormon Church leaders. When deputies arrived THE NEXT DAY when the horse's body was resumed they simply asked Treg what happened and of course he claimed it was an accident. Hundreds of unrelated people saw what happened. We are working hard to bring light to this situation and put Treg behind bars where he belongs. Well, he belongs at the bottom of the lake as well, but that'd be murder, right?!
This person does not deserve the title of a man, he's a coward and should be in prison! He's sick and demented. Please feel free to read reports of this incident at the below sites. But, you must read the actual eye witness accounts as the media still is only reporting it an accident.
TREG BAUM is a liar and a coward- do not go near him with your children or families! If he treats an animal in such a way I feel sorry for his children!
