I had a $1400.00 ambulance reported to Bay are credit a little over a year ago.  I paid $50.00 a month reducing the amount to $750.00.  I paid the reamainig $750.00 in full two monts ago, but learned that they withdrew double that, or $1500.00, claiming I owed 1200.00, instead of the $750.00 I paid, and would refund the excess $300.00 the drafted.  The lasr nine $50.00 payment ($450.00) were never were received,  After further investigation, I learned I had inpiutted the wrong accouynt number on those last nine payments.  I faxed them the last nine receipts plus bank statements proving I made the last nine paymwents, and I owed just $750.00 not the $1200,00 they claimed I owed.  After two weeks they posted those nine payments to my account, correcting the error, and proved the owed $750,00, not the $300.00 they claimed they owed.  Yet after a month of corresondence, the still refuse to refund me the $750.00, they agreed they owed me.  Reason given," Payment being processed." I believe tey are just stalling (lying) and have no intentions of returning the money they stole from me.  Yes, they took the extra money in good faith, thinking I owed more than I claimed,  So taking the money was not theft,  Refusung to return it is theft.

In the February 20th  Rebuttal, I was informed that the check had been mailed the day before ob the nineteenth in the amountvof $750.00,  In the latest rebuttal posted Today February 27, one week later, I am told that one money order for $300.oo was mailed January 8 of this year ad another money order was mailed Februaury 7th ofthis year in the amount of $450.00.

You see two differnt confl.icting reports.  It appears they can't keep their story straight, which gives the indication that nothing is being donr or has been done to remedy the situation.  I guess they found a easy way to ,make an extrra $750.00.  Maybe a lawauit, and theft charges will make a differenve if that is what it takes to get my money back.

Called Bay Area Credit today, February 27, 2014, in regards to the $750.00 additinal funds they drafted on Deember 26,2013.  Supervisor claims a money order in the amount of $300.00 was mailed on January 8,2014, and a money order in the amount of $450.00 was mailed on Februaury 7, 2014.  Of course, as of this date, February 27, 2014 neither money order as been received.  Now supervisor claims he is going to instigate an investigation from his end to see where the 2 money orders went, and suggerst I do the same from my end.
