Like others, I purchased the P90 DVD program from the Beachbody internet site. I definitely endorse that product. As you attempt to finalize that purchase you are bombarded with pop-up requests offering you "free" samples of vitamins etc. I accepted the free samples and at no time agreed to any recurring shipments.

I noticed a bill for $33.19 for a single bottle of vitamins that I received in January. I presumed this was the free sample.

I called to complain only to find out that Beachbody had me enrolled in a recurring vitamin sales program. The (kind) representative on the phone offered to cancel the subscription (I never agreed to this in the first place), that no more vitamins would arrive, and that there would be only one more charge for about $20 to complete the sale for the first bottle. $53 for a bottle of vitamins, especially those I never agreed to order in the first place? You have to be kidding! I was furious and said to cancel everything.

The phone rep gave me an RMA number to return the vitamins but refused to refund the "shipping and handling" charges for a purchase I never authorized in the first place. Add that to my cost of returning these unauthorized vitamins, and you have a first class ripoff.

The beachbody DVDs I've seen so far are good, but if this is the cost of doing business with this outfit, it's not worth it. My recommendation? Find another companay to do business with. These folks are ripoff artists.

Hi NBO, My name is Pierre and I am an employee with beachbody, I apologize for the confusion you may have had regarding the program regarding the activit vitamins. When you click to agree to the free trial of vitamins it is explained to you that it is a trial and you must cancel within 30 days to not be enrolled in the membership program. Additionally these details are also on your invoice when you receive them. Here is the specific verbiage used on our website. "We'd like to send you a 30-day supply of ActiVita $50.00 valuefor only $24.95 plus $4.95 s&h. Experience all the benefits of ActiVit for 30 days. After that, you'll enjoy a fresh 60-day supply delivered right to your door every two months for only $24.95 per month plus $4.95 s&h, charged to the credit card you enter today. There's no risk or obligationyou can stop your shipments at any time. But once you experience ActiVit, we're confident you'll never want to give it up!" Here is the direct link: http://www.beachbody.com/product/supplements/best_sellers/activit_multivitamins.do?code=BBHOME_PARSEA_ACT When you purchase a fitness program from us you are offered the first bottle for free to try and you are instructed to cancel within thirty days if you did not want to be enrolled. The price is split into two monthly payments because we send the customer a 60 day supply every two months, instead of 2 30 days supplies 30 days apart. We feel this is convenient for our customers. I would like for you to email me at [email protected] and I will definitely go ahead and credit the shipping and handling for you. Again I apologize for the confusion if any and I am happy to hear that you do enjoy our P90 DVD Program :) Thank you for your time, Pierre
