To Whom It May Concern:

The company Best Resume & Writing as named on the company’s About Us website page can be found at abestresume.com and with a business address of 125 N 2nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85004.  I believe this company is conducting a fraudulent scheme misleading people and stealing money from hard working individuals. As far as I am concerned their service is a complete scam. Peter Brett in particular at [email protected] is supposedly the owner of the company with 21 years of experience but after being ripped off I learned this company is not registered with the State of Arizona to legally conduct business. Best Resume is also not accredited with the Better Business Bureau. Stay far away from Best Resume and Peter Brett.

I contacted Peter Brett for assistance with my resume. I was very specific on what I expected because I already had a completed resume. I was looking for assistance with making my resume more modern and designed/targeted for a specific career interest. I was also assured that I would not be charged until I approved the resume. I never approved the resume and never authorized Peter Brett/ Best Resume to withdraw 459.00 from my bank account. There are mistakes throughout the resume and the formatting was not consistent. The format was also not up to date. The owner stated I would be happy with the resume and it would be up to date meaning modern.  Best Resume promised that the resume would be perfect and also stated that the resume would be perfectly aligned.  Below is one of the letters that was sent to Peter at Best Resume via email.

“Hello Peter, 

I am requesting a 100% refund because I am not going to use your product and I am completely dissatisfied with your service.  As I stated before, “I am not happy with this resume. There are mistakes throughout the resume and the formatting is inconsistent. The resume was not exceptional and far from extensive coupled with mistakes. You promised this resume would be perfect and also guaranteed I would be happy with the aftermath. I understand your business is generated from the internet and I am providing an opportunity for you to protect your company’s reputation by providing a full refund to me. I am not satisfied with your service and have been misled to believe your company would produce an excellent resume supported by your sales pitch. I, Dr. C, would never recommend Best Resume/Peter Brett to anyone. If we are not able to settle this dispute, I, as a responsible customer and productive member of society, will be forced against my will to file multiple complaints with all media outlets sharing explicit details regarding my horrible experience with Best Resume/Peter Brett. I will move forward with filing my complaint if I am not issued a full refund within 48 hours.Thank you for your time and I look forward to settling this matter with you.” 

Best Resume has not responded to my complaint letter and did not take any step to resolve my compliant. I am very disappointed in their lack of professionalism and unethical business practices. Thank you for taking the time and reading my complaint and hopefully this saves you $500.00 dollars and time
