I to was ripped off by Bettertrades!

My wife and I attended a seminar together where we were told that we could make our money back in no time. That with the help of the customer service department and others at BetterTrades we could see our investment grow to a Million in no time.

We signed up with the couple's package and were told that if we did not make a certain amount of money within six months by doing 36 trades we would be given a full refund. That is farther from the truth, as we have found out.

You go to the two day seminar and are pumped up by one of the best con artists (Doug Sutton). As I have read in other reports he did the same thing as the others. He made trades during the seminar. During the seminar his cell phone would go off and he would tell us that it was money calling. I am sure that it was pre-staged to get the class going for the hype to follow.

You are told that you need to have this software and that type of software to better assist you in making the right decision. The cost of the software ends up being in the thousands of dollars. You follow the lead of maybe a stand in from BetterTrades and by this software. I am not sure but this same type of con game happens at auctions. Where the auctioneer places a person in the crowd to get the price up. BetterTrades may even place a person in the class that goes forward to buy the software to get others in the class to do the same.

At the end of the seminar Doug told us that we would be given a discount if we placed our order today. If we did not place an order the price would go up. He also told us that if we placed an order he would also give a Bonus gift by telling us his best picks to watch.

Next came the next pitch in the con game. Here was a package that was put together by a group of attorneys out of Seattle. We would be making so much money that we needed to have this package to be able to shelter us from all of the taxes we would be paying. I fell into this hook line and sinker. Later, from the help a local CPA that informed me that the information that was provide was false.

I plan to go to the State Attorney Generals office and file a complaint with the consumer fraud division against BetterTrades. At the present time I am dealing with the same Shawn that is mentioned in another report to get our money back. They are playing games and I do not plan to give up.
