you have to remember that the manufacturer is who dictates what can and cant be handled under any warranty. The dealer is a buisnessman who sells a product which is warranteed by the manufacturer.
If there is a problem the warrany pays for the part and the labor. No one not even you would perform a service or sell a product for nothing, in some cases a generous dealer will eat the problem, but they cant do that all the time because eventually there would be no dealer. Most dealers do and will stand there products especially large multi franchise dealers because thats what made them mega dealers,Bill Heard did not get to be the number one Chevrolet dealer in the world because he did not believe in or stand behind his product.
Thanks again

Sorry Dennis,
You are so wrong. Of course you pay the bills, ..You're the one that makes the big profit, and you're the one that deals with the manufacture and has a direct line to the manufacture to get all the problems resolved. What about the warrantee? Don't you stand behind your product? Why should your customer have to deal with these problems?
From coast to coast, the many Rip-off Reports regarding Bill Heard seem to all speak for themselves, basically telling the same Rip-off story.

AFTER 20 YEARS IN THE RETAIL AUTO SALES I HAVE FOUND THAT MOST COMPLAINTS FROM CUSTOMERS CAN BE SOLVED BY SIMPLY ADDRESSING THE SITUATION AND REMEMBERING THAT MOST CUSTOMERS ARE UPSET AT A VEHICLE PROBLEM AND NOT THE PEOPLE INVOLVED.
CUSTOMERS NEED TO REALIZE THAT NO DEALER IS THE MANUFACTURER OR THE WARRANTOR OF THE VEHICLE THEY ARE SIMPLY THE AGENT FOR THEM. MOST PROBLEMS CAN BE RESOLVED IF BOTH PARTIES UNDERSTAND THIS.
I KNOW YOU SAY "WELL THE DEALER MADE THE PROFIT"
AND I AGREE HE DID, HOWEVER HE ALSO PAID THE TAXES
ON THAT PROFIT, THE SALESPERSON, THE RECEPTIONIST, THE DETAILER, THE UTLITIES, HIS RENT FACTOR, THE LOT ATTENDANT AND HIS SALES MANAGER.
I WORKED FOR BILL HEARD CHEVROLET IN COLLIERVILLE
TENNESSEE FOR A PERIOD OF TIME IN 2001 AND 2002 AS THE NEW CAR AND TRUCK DIRECTOR AND MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE ORGANIZATION IS THAT THEY ARE
VERY CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AWARE!!
THANKS
