I called Blue Hippo Funding on 3/07/2006, which time they took my information and stated that they would be drafting my account in the amount of $99 begining on 3/16/2006. They stated to me that I would receive the address verification within 3-5 business days and If I like, I could go ahead and make 5 payments which total 219.90 and my computer would be shipped within weeks. I made the first payment in the amount of 219.90 on 3/20/2006. I didnot receive any paper work from them until 4/12/2006, in which I signed and faxed right back to them. Before they actually sent the paperwork I was calling at least every other day about them sending the shipment verification forms, and they would tell me they were having trouble and to call back in about 10 days. Since then I have made a total of 9 payments totaling 602.78..Still no computer! Even from the beginning I knew that I would be paying way over the amount asked for this computer but I was attracted to the information they told me about reporting to all three credit bureaus as well as the the offer for the 900.00 rebate and the free 20 inch plasma tv. After a few weeks of calling customer service and them brushing me off I went to the internet and did a search. That's how I found you guys. On today I called and told them that I wanted to cancel my order. At frist the girl was really nice and told me how they really wanted my business, but when I didnot agree to continue to make the payments she got an attitude, and told me that even If I cancelled, a collection agency will still try to collect the remaining balance. By that time I was really upset and I told her that I didnot want the computer, nor did I want them to take anymore money out of my account. So I will just have to see what will happen from this point forward. I trully wish I had done more research before making such a foolish decision. If anyone know of anything that can be done please let me know... Also the number to the home office is 410-277-9800, they suppose to be the people that actually does the financing..

This place was closed and commercials removed a few years back for doing poor business and folks making and filing complaints with the Attorney Generals Offic in MD and with the states Attorney in Baltimore. Please people file charges. Even letting them Know you are filing may possibly light a fire to get them refunding There is No way they can be getting away with this Again They were JUST in court a few years ago. I can not believe that the commercials are still running whenever I see it I know someone will get got and feel sorry for them. Not to mention the computers you get from this place are NOTHING for the money you pay. You can buy one cheaper and Better powered at a rent a center or something. Or if you can come up with 4.00 have one Built. Go to Toger Direct and get one they have really low prices nd I have dealt with them for years with no problems. Oh and for that last above comment on it being LEGAL to use such a childish method as to crank call No sorry that is in fact also illegal. Not to mention seriously immature. and not going to do anything to fix the situation Maybe if you see the commercial maybe make a complaint to the TV station and share your expeirence. They also have a TV News show in Baltimore that done a report I thought on this place before. ALWAYS do research BEFORE buying

I really feel sorry for everyone that has called Blue Hippo and signed up for their "BS" sales pitch on network and cable tv. These morons call themselves Blue Hippo Funding which means, they take all your money and run with it. Do me just one favor that will save yourselves a whole lot of grief here. Call around and have someone reputable build you a computer, that's what I had done. My former girlfriend saw the commercial, wrote the number down for me, and I checked them out before I made that call. When she saw all of the complaints against Blue Hippo Funding she was totally floored!! She quickly apologized to me and thanked me for coming here to rip-offreports.com to show her the numerous complaints. I never did call either. Want some sound advice?? Contact your local Better Business Bureau Office, and the Office of The Attorney General in your City or state, and keep calling these agencies. FYI, There's another Computer Scam and that one is from pcsforall- pc's for all. They're located in Chesapeake, Virginia. These people have the same amount of monthly payments and the same Bogus sales pitch. According to pc'sforall, Blue Hippo Funding Stole their idea, imagine that!! Please don't be taken for that royal ride and your hard earned money stolen from ruthless people that don't care about you, one way or the other. If it sounds too good to be true- It is!!!! I've tried sending emails to ESPN and the Fox Sports Networks who are among the many others that are airing these commercials, unfortunately they don't care about who gets ripped off either.
