I parked in a Lanier owned lot that Boot Man D/B/A Premier Parking Enforcement has the sub contract for managing and enforcing. I procured my ticket and placed it in my windshield. When I came out to my car, it was booted. I called the # and an employee came and told me he would not remove the boot until I paid him $75. I showed him my ticket and he still refused, stating that I did not procure the ticket properly. I learned from him that he gets $20 for every car he boots, so he is motivated to illegally boot cars to make more money. I called the police who told me that this was a civil matter and they couldn't do anything to force him to remove the boot. They recommended I pay the $75 and follow up with the company.
