Brian Gilman is convicted pedophile in the state of Indiana, who now lives in Herndon Virginia as the Director of Sales for Vocus.com. Brian Gilman was caught on 3 separate occasions for child molestation.
Brian lures in unsuspecting boys from the ages of 12 to 14 years of age by posing as a 13 year old girl on facebook and myspace.
BEWARE OF THIS MAN.
This was brought to my attention in September of 2011, when my wife and I caught Brian Gilman stalking our 13 year old son and two of his classmates at my son's soccer league - we tried to file criminal charges against the man, although unsuccessful. We hired a private investigator to find out who this guy was, only to find that he holds a high position at a company named Vocus Inc in Herndon. Brian Gilman is the director of sales.
PLEASE BE ADVISED OF THE REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER IN THE AREA! This man MUST be stopped. Brian Gilman spends most of his afternoons watching local teen football, baseball, soccer, and lacrosse leagues. We suspect this is because Brian Gilman is a registered sex offender, and cannot go near public schools.
Brian Gilman is on the loose, his residence is allegedly in Herndon, Virginia as well. If you have any information or catch him stalking your children please contact the Detective Winthers at the Herndon Police Department at (703) 435-6846.

I spoke with Nina to see if she had written this posting concerning Brian Gilman. Nina said she did not write it and had not heard of RipOff report. The person who has defamed Brian is researching where he is to continue and write horrid lies about him and to stalk him intending on inflicting damage on his reputation.

Neither "Brian Gilman" nor "Brian MacGregor" is listed on either the Indiana or Virginia sex offender registry, so, clearly, the information in the original report is completely false and defamatory.

Brian Gilman is none of the things suggested in this fictional testimony. He is NOT a registered sex offender and he was never found to be stalking anyone's young children. These facts can easily be confirmed by the Virginia State authorities. The sex offender list is easily searchable and Brian is not on it. I feel strongly this "report" should be removed on the grounds that it is not based in any supporting facts or documentation and appears to be an intentional fiction. At the end of the write up it recommends contacting a Detective Winthers at the Reston PD if you have any information. There is no such officer at the Reston, PD. However, if you do call, they can help you confirm that Brian is not a known sex offender and is not on any registration list. Feel free to search yourself... something this website should do as a matter of policy.

It should not be acceptable by anyone's standards that such a damaging "report" could be made anonymously (the submitter "Daniel" is also fictitious) and without any attempt to verify the statements made. In this case it is especially unforgiveable because a number of the allegations are so easily found to be false. Effectively, those who maintain this site are a party to a sinister crime.. Even the paparazzi does not come out with nasty stories about celebs being sex offenders. Alien abduction would be preferrable, thanks.
Please get it right, "ripoffreport.com" and remove this false testimony from your site immediately. I'm going to urge Mr. Gilman to seek the support of an attorney if this rebuttal is not 100% effective in removing this assault on Brian's good name.
