Mr. Adrian Anderson contacted me and my Husband Tracy and Yolanda Cope about a loan we applied for online and he stated that we were approved for a $5,000 dollars loan and we had three options to get this loan.

Either we could put up some collateral, get a co-signer to put up some collateral, or we could get the insurance which would cost us $525 dollars and that will cover the loan just in case we stop working.

Well I sent it in two payment of $260 and $265, He then Stated that he will release the funds into our account the next day and for us to call him around 12 noon. Which we did, he then stated that his boss by the name of Jerry reran

Our credit and that they need a another $525 because our credit is not so good. So we told him that was okay we just want our money back, He then Stated that he can not give to for two to three days and I Mrs. Cope told him that was not

accepted, we want our money back now the same way we sent it to him and Mr. Danny Johns. He then stated he will send it on Friday September 26, 2008 but when I called him he would not answer his phone and now the 1-800-617-5302

number does not work and he is located in London Canada Ontario. I just want our money back please because I got my mother money as well involved with this she was just helping up can someone help us track this man down.

Thank you.

You Were Scammed

Yolanda, by answering an online ad for a loan, you got yourself involved in a classic loan scam many have reported here on ROR. For a price, the company will make a loan to you, and then there's another fee, and still another. By the time you figure out you're being scammed, it's too late. Obtaining any loan should not cost you one dime; if anyone asks you for money for a loan, you are being scammed. The money you paid these idiots is gone and so are they. Do NOT fall for any online loan offers again - period. If you cannot obtain a loan through legitimate means (bank, credit union, etc...), then why would someone online want to give it to you?
