In 2012, B of A sold our mortgage loan to BSI of Irving, Texas. It was very difficult to get ahold of anyone and everyone had a different story when I asked why I couldnt get a monthly statement to pay our bill. So to be sure we were all on the right page I called the payments in every month and watched my bank statements to be sure payments were deducted at B of A. Things seemed fine until 2015 when I started recieving calls and notices of people wanting to help us with our forclosure. I called numerous times and talked to numerous people at BSI. They all insisted everything was fine over a period from April to September. I Also ran a few titles on the house. Nothing showed up. Kept making payments by phone. In October I got a call from the 4th or 5th person claiming to be handling my account. He said he was sending our October payment back because we were behind three months. I wasnt alarmed I had proof on my bank statements, right? I called our "agant"at BSI to straighten things out. He argued with me the whole time and kept accusing me of lying so I got the last 12 months of bank statements and sent them with payments highlighted. I showed corresponding notes to a sad excuse for there book keeping he'd sent me. It was very ambiguous without clear clarification on any of the transactions. When I called back to get in touch with this agent he was very condensending and used alot of double talk and blatantly lied about conversations he said we'd had. Everytime we talked he said he had checks on his desk I'd sent and he was not accepting them putting us more behind. But they'd been cashed already. After months of arguing with them he finally had us 4 months behind and said he was putting us in foreclosure. He returned one check and applied a few more. Hes still lying about one check that we alledgedly didnt make but its a different month everytime I talk to him. The last time I talked to him he called me a lier and said I was flaky. That was in December and I havent bothered to talk to him since.
I hired a realtor friend to act as laison between us since I cant find a lawyer I feel confident to use. Shes been talking to him for 3 weeks now and not getting anywhere either. Last thing he told her is theyre going ahead with the forclosure. Then I googled BSI financial.Now I get it. Im on a medical retirement and a senoir citizen thats worked hard all my life. Is this how it ends? BBB, consumer affairs,a facebook page and google all have stories just like mine about BSI extorting money from people. Oh yeah in the middle of all this they sent me a bill for app 5,000 without any reason why. Please check them out. Theres alot more to this story but I didnt want to muddle the most important problem. Which is loosing my house with my retirement locked in it!
