Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We purchased a go-cart  back in November and from the very beginning, the service was horrible.  We had driven an hour to pick up the go-cart and ended up waiting 6 or more hours to even be able to pick the go-cart up. When we did finally get the go-cart, there were several adjustments that needed to be made and Steve told us that we could do them ourselves.  I insisted that the repairs be made before we left the facility.   After we had left from picking the go-cart up, Steve called and said he had forgotten to give us the manual.  I asked him to mail the manual and to this date, we still haven't received it.  I have contacted him numerous times and asked for the manual.  He just keeps giving me and my husband excuses and keeps promising to put it in the mail.

After bringing the go-cart home, we discovered the the go-cart had been thrown together. Bolts and screws were not put in properly and could have been a major disaster had my husband not taken the time to go over each one and adjust them properly before we gave the go-cart to our grandkids for Christmas.

I would not recomend this company to anyone and wish I would have read the reviews before doing business with this man.

The fact is, most of what you read on the internet is pure nonsense, such as this report. The Customer's Rreal name is Carol Bell of (((redacted))) in The Woodlands, TX 77384. They called on a Friday and ordered a go kart. They wanted a blue one, which we did not have assembled. We assembled it for them and they waited 15 minutes to have it loaded and on their way - they were in an extreme rush because kids had to be picked up from school. In their hurry, they left the manual on our desk. I called them right after they left but they refused to come back for it. I mentioned most of the information is available on line but we would save it for her any way - which we did - it is sitting on my desk with her name on as a matter of fact. We are no aware of ANY service issues they had and we do not have record of a single warranty rrequest. Nuts and bolts ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER to check on all vehicles we sell and this is clearly laid out in all of our documentation as well as on our maintenance page on our web site. Checking nuts and bolts for safety is required on ANY powersports equipment, whether it is a $1000 Go Kart or a $45,000 Harley Davidson. It is not reasonable to criticize us for their failure to do basic maintenance AND their refusal to bring the Kart in for service if that is actually required. They still have one month left of warranty, but we have not seen them once. And no, basic maintenance such as tightening nuts and bolts, oil changes, tire pressure, and chain adjustments are NOT warranty, they are basic standard maintenance.
