I didn't get that many miles and sometimes getting home was a b***h after a year. Some weeks having only gotten 1600 miles and with my road expenses, it wasn't worth driving there. I spent Memorial Day 2009 out with only 562 miles for 4 days from Friday at Midday thru Monday morning. I spent the 4th of July wknd sitting all day Friday the 3rd after delivering Thursday night the 2nd. I asked to get home over the 4th but I sat on the 4th and on the 5th for a 330 mile load that picked up on Monday. I got home every weekend when I started and later I didn't get home at all; once was out 3 weeks and ultimately it was a fight to get home.

I started to work for Buske Lines in 1999 and continued working for Buske Lines on and off through 2007. I went through several hard times in my life during my employment with Buske Lines. The company was Great to me, always understanding to my needs when times were hard. I had to leave Buske lines numerous times for various reasons during the 8 years, from Grandparents being sick and caring for them till they passed away, to simple burn out driving over the road and wanting a local job for a while. I always gave notice, turned in my truck at the terminal and shook everyones hand wqhen I left. Buske Lines continues to touch base with me a couple of times a year so far and has made it clear to me how important quality drivers are, they have made it clear to me the door is open if I ever decide to Drive Over the road again I have a Job with them. While employed with Buske Lines I never had problems getting home, usually ran OTR 7-14 days. I always tried to get home every other weekend, but to my surprise I would often find myself on loads through the house with out asking, putting me home several times a month at times. My Pay was always rewarding. I averaged 2200 miles on a slow week to 3400 and 3500 miles on good weeks. I also drove for Buske during the SC Johnson Days, I personally dont buy into it. I figure Tom Buske is a victim in this and getting a bad rap. The man has passed me in the parking lot of his Company several times and always stopped to shake my hand and acknowledge me as a Driver. He was always honest on my pay. I never had any problems getting my full pay check. But at the same times, I always did my best on my loads and taking care of the Equipment. I highly reccomend Bill Signaigo as a Dispatcher, He was one of the most upfront, Honest and Hard working people I have ever known. I currently work as a Police Officer in my Home town. Being home with my Family every night. But if finances ever put me in a position to go back on the road, and I needed to make Big Money again.......I would go back to work for Buske Lines in a Heart Beat. If you are lazy, undependable, or just one of those people who always have an excuse, I would not reccomend Buske Lines to you, They will show you the door. But if you are a honest, hard working, dependable Driver... They will keep you busy and you will make great Money..... After all my expenses and deductions i brought home anywhere from $700 to $1200 a week Net Pay. And that is why Im able to have a local job today and be home with my Family every night......Thanks Buske Lines... Brandon ruley Harrison, Arkansas U.S.A.
